Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s instructions with respect to preparing and levelling the sub-floor prior to installing the underlay and flooring. Make sure the sub-floor is clean and dry. Lay out Tuplex underlay so that the seams touch and overlap, do not tape. Cover the entire floor area and run the underlay up the perimeter walls approximately 4 cm; this will provide a secure enclosure for the flooring. After the floor is installed and before the baseboards are put on, the excess underlay should be trimmed to the height of the floor surface with a fine trimming blade.
Installation of normal Tuplex is as easy as Overlap, you only tape the seams.
