Multipurpose thermobonded wadding - Clo-Star™

Multipurpose thermobonded wadding is SNT:s own product, which is developed in co-operation with one of the leading fiber manufacturer Wellman International Ltd.

The thermo bonded Clo-Star insulation is designed for outerwear, work wear and leisurewear. Due to its structure Clo-Star is very pliable and soft, which makes it nice to wear and easy to handle in production.

Quilting is not necessary. Fiber migration may occur with rough or coarse fabrics. If in doubt, SNT-Group can arrange fabric combination test.

SAFE™- Flame retardant insulation. Meets the requirements of ISO 6941 and ASTM D 1230-83 for apparel textiles.

Waddings for woollen coats

Wool fabric is such a warm material that it doesn´t require an effective insulation with it in order to build up a warm garment. The thinner insulation the better it hangs. For these demands we have in our range an outstanding product for wool jackets.
